A brilliant close by hotel is Country Hearth Inn Mexico; Mark Twain Landing is a good campground nearby. Stay the night at The Landing; if you need a place to stay Mexico Days Inn is a good choice. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Carr Branch is right next door to Lake Tom Sawyer and is always a pleasure to go to. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake Tom Sawyer is close to the national       average; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Lake Tom Sawyer throughout the summertime months are in the 80's, and the overnight is slightly colder of course, regularly in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's while Lake Tom Sawyer night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Tom Sawyer Dam is                  charming and it's close to Lake Tom Sawyer, and the Hickory Bluff Trail offers hiking at its best.
