Lake Tekawitha fishing report {06/18/09}
All bass good seemingly hitting everything; Sunfish and Bluegill are good on live bait w/bobber combo; Catfish are fair on liver and goldfish; Crappie slow.
It's starting to heat up at the lake. I caught this one on a cricket with a bobber, about 5 feet in depth.

In Missouri there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Tekawitha is one of them. Any time is a perfect time at Lake Tekawitha if you go for the outdoors. McFall Creek flows through this vicinity; why not stop at Lake Tekawitha Dam while you're here. Through the summertime months, highs usually are in the 80's at Lake Tekawitha, and the nighttime is rather colder of course, mostly in the 60's. Hidden Valley Golf Club; if you came for an overnight stay Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp is a great spot to camp. KOA St. Louis West is a glorious local campground, and if you need a site to stay Quality Inn Near Six Flags St. Louis is a glorious choice. Lake Tekawitha is one of the lakes here in the Ozarks.
