Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Lees Summit is a wonderful choice, and Lake Nell is a place with many visitors from Kansas City. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Peculiar Park Place is always a perfect experience; Pleasant Hill Golf Course is a glorious golf course close       by. Lake Nell gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. If you came to camp Trailside Camper's Inn is a brilliant place to do that; get wet paddling on Blue River. For the duration of the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Lake Nell. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows during the wintertime                  for Lake Nell tend to be in the 10's.
