The John J Audubon Trail is a tremendous hiking trail right next door to Lake Kal-Tatri, and if you need a place to stay Ozark Village Motel is a good choice. All year is a brilliant time       in the Ozarks if you like the outdoors. While you're here at Lake Kal-Tatri you will meet lots of people from nearby Farmington. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Lake Kal-Tatri. There's whitewater on Pickle Creek for all you thrill seekers, and Butterfly Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Lake Kal-Tatri Dam is not far at all from Lake Kal-Tatri, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Castor                  River. All through the warm days of summer at Lake Kal-Tatri highs are mostly in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Kal-Tatri dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Lake Kal-Tatri called the Silver Mine Trail; Big Spring Hollow is also a nice place to look at. So much fun stuff to do here in the Ozarks, too great to be true.
