State Of Missouri is a nice campground nearby, and nearby you stumble on tremendous places like Big Spring Hollow. There's whitewater on Castor River for all you adrenaline people; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Farmington, Mo. Lake Kal-Tatri gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February       meanwhile is the driest month. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Lake Kal-Tatri. Near Lake Kal-Tatri you locate the Silver Mine Trail which is a great hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Pickle Creek. Be careful coming to the Ozarks, you might not ever want to go home again. Lakes are delightful; Butterfly Lake is a lake that's close to Lake Kal-Tatri, and                  from Lake Kal-Tatri you get a brilliant view of Beehive Knob. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Kal-Tatri Dam is lovely and it's in the neighborhood of Lake Kal-Tatri, and this is a popular location for folks from Farmington. The John J Audubon Trail is a good hiking trail close to Lake Kal-Tatri; Super 8 Motel Farmington is a great place to get some rest. At Lake Kal-Tatri through the warm months highs are in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Kal-Tatri dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. That right there is a load of exciting things already but it goes on, the Ozarks has it all. If you came for an overnight stay St Joe State Park is a magnificent place to camp, and you're probably interested in lakes, Rainbow Lake is one of those nearby.
