From a precipitation point of view Lake Four Winds is a reasonably typical spot; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of the Ozarks. A delightful nearby hotel is Budget Lodging, and why not camp at Harmon Spring Campground if you're here at Lake Four Winds. Going for a hike along the Trace Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and there are other places here than Lake Four Winds, for example Diablo Lake. by Ebo Creek if you're here at Lake Four Winds, and near Lake Four Winds you stumble on a golf course called Fourche Valley Golf Club. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks. For the duration of the long summer days
at Lake Four Winds temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Four Winds dipping down into the 10's through winter
nights. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Four Winds. If you desire a little side spree, try Valley of Eden, and Four Winds Way Reservoir is a nice lake close by.

Most of the people that hang out here are a bucnch drunks and are here to party. If you take your time and learn the lake you can catch alot of bass and as many redear you can eat. Just stay away from the local drunks.... |

STOP the draining of our lake! there are animals dieing because of it! there was also more money spent here in north dakota when the lake was a lot fuller. come look and see what damage your stupid missouri is costing at the lake! i go there every year and more and more water is gone for what? notheing! now that there is not a lot of water left people have to find a a different place to go. they cant even keep there boats at fort stevenson because it is BONE DRY! missouri, you need to close down your falls because there is more money made here and it not fair that a NATIONAL PARK Can Not survive because of you!! there should be no reason why a NAtional park should close. also the lake was here before your stupid idea even came around. there for it is our right to protect what we have:our future,homes, and last but not least, our lake and population.... |
Council Bluff Lake
 | 18 miles away Council Bluff lake is a great place for swimming and afterward eat a yummy dinner in Arcadia Valley and stay at the nostalgic place bed and breakfast in Arcadia. Nostalgic Place is a favorite for many hikers after long days on the trail. Their beds are heavenly and they treat you like family.
