Go to Lac Benet Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Stouts Creek; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lac Benet Lake; Taum Sauk Trail is a great local trail. From a rain point of view Lac Benet Lake is a quite typical place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

| | is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lac Renee is in the vicinity of Lac Benet Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Bonne Terre. Summertime highs at Lac Benet Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Lac Benet Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Terre Du Lac Country Club, and
if you need a location to stay Potosi Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice. So much exciting stuff to do in the Ozarks, not enough time. There's so much to do here at Lac Benet Lake that you need to camp here for a while, St Joe State
Park is a tremendous site for that, and there are plenty of people from Farmington here.
This location, the Ozarks, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. You could also have a look at Lac Marseilles since you're here at Lac Benet
Lake; it's close by, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Brewers Creek.
