At Krekder Lake all through the summer highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's; overnight lows in the 10's for Krekder Lake. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Ozarks. Lakes? Sure, Walker North Lake is close at hand, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Cuba Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by,

| | Pleasant Valley Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here; Krekder Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Moon RV Park and Horse Motel is a brilliant local campground. Lake, you'll come across Alexander Lake which is a picturesque lake, and Krekder Lake Dam is a stunning site. Krekder Lake is located in the Ozarks. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Krekder Lake; through May this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.

Tea Lakes
 | Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
