    The beauty of Knoblauch Lake is reason enough to stop by. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Ozarks has to offer. Bluegrass Pickin' Time Campground is a good campground nearby, and Dennis Lake is a splendid lake nearby. From a rain point of view Knoblauch Lake is a reasonably typical place; during May this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Knoblauch Lake is right by the Blossom Rock  
   Trail; Best Western Montis Inn is a good location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Knoblauch Lake; Kaintuck Trail is a good local trail. Summertime highs at Knoblauch Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Knoblauch Lake are in the 10's. Lots of folks from Fort Leonard Wood come to Knoblauch
 
               Lake; Dodds Hollow is around here, and is a great place.
Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Ozarks is so good! The Cedar Bluff Trail offers hiking at its best, and lakes are such calm spots, why not visit Big V Ranch Lake. Just can't get enough of Knoblauch Lake. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Oak Hills Country Club; dry warm beds await you at St. Robert-Days Inn Waynesville/Ft. Leonard Wood. Arlington River Resort is a great local campground, and why not take a look at Knoblauch Lake Dam if you're here.

...argest I have ever seen. From the top, you will not know that you are on a bridge. From the bottom it looks like a large, deep cave through which light doesn't travel because of a bend in the tunnel. Follow the trail around the hill and you will find the other opening. Next time I will bring a flashlight so that I can explore a little.

The trails are popular with horseback riders and are as wide as sidewalks most of the time. In most places and the footing is good. A small percentage of the trail is made up of loose rock that can be bad for a weak ankle.

My only complaint is that the map I have is not accurate and the markers on the trees don't lend much confidence. Today I wound up walking an extra two hours because of a wrong turn. Looking at the Internet maps, I still can't find the path I was walking or the fenced meadows. In one spot the trail went through a chained gate. I didn't know if I would be trespassing so I turned right, followed a path around the field and found myself on some dirt road that is not marked. Maybe the next time the park service i...
