     Knoblauch Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks. The scenery at Knoblauch Lake Dam near Knoblauch Lake is scenic, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Montis Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Be careful coming to the Ozarks, you might not ever want to go back home again. If the weather is fine here at Knoblauch Lake, you can go for a hike along the Kaintuck Trail, and camping at Arlington River Resort is always a splendid experience.
 
   That right there is a load of exciting things already but it goes on, the Ozarks has it all. On a nice day at Knoblauch Lake you can take a hike along the Cedar Bluff Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Oak Hills Country Club is around here. Knoblauch Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is when it's the driest. Throughout the summertime months here at Knoblauch Lake, high temperatures  
               mostly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; night lows at Knoblauch Lake through the winter typically descend into the 10's.
Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do right next door to Knoblauch Lake. Lakes are delightful; Dennis Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Knoblauch Lake, and Dodds Hollow is a great place to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail close to Knoblauch Lake called the Blossom Rock Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Knoblauch Lake there are plenty of people from Fort Leonard Wood, and camping is available at Bluegrass Pickin' Time Campground.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Big V Ranch Lake; if you need a site to stay Days Inn St. Robert Waynesville/Ft. Leonard Wood is a perfect choice.

Kaintuck Trail

...e a large, deep cave through which light doesn't travel because of a bend in the tunnel. Follow the trail around the hill and you will find the other opening. Next time I will bring a flashlight so that I can explore a little.

The trails are popular with horseback riders and are as wide as sidewalks most of the time. In most places and the footing is good. A small percentage of the trail is made up of loose rock that can be bad for a weak ankle.

My only complaint is that the map I have is not accurate and the markers on the trees don't lend much confidence. Today I wound up walking an extra two hours because of a wrong turn. Looking at the Internet maps, I still can't find the path I was walking or the fenced meadows. In one spot the trail went through a chained gate. I didn't know if I would be trespassing so I turned right, followed a path around the field and found myself on some dirt road that is not marked.
