     You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Best Western Cuba Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest. Not far from Kemp Lake, you'll locate Pine Lake which is a striking lake, and Kemp Lake Dam is not far at all from Kemp Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Meramec River; Oak Grove Trailer Park is a tremendous local campground.

   that's next to Kemp Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Ozark Outdoors Riverfront Resort is a good site to camp. The amount of precipitation that falls at Kemp Lake is close to the national average; during May this area sees the most rain while January is typically the driest month. So many fun things to do here in the Ozarks, too pleasant to be true. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express CUBA is a perfect spot to spend a night or two; you can  
               go for a hike on the Berryman Trail.
Throughout the summer months at Kemp Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Kemp Lake plunge into the 10's. This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
