The beauty of Kelley Lake attracts many people from all around. Throughout the summer months at Kelley Lake highs are generally in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 40's, and night lows at Kelley Lake during the winter commonly descend into the 10's. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Big Lake is near Kelley Lake, and you'll meet a lot of people from Poplar Bluff

All the water falling down from the sky makes Kelley Lake a wet site; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most; January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Near Kelley Lake you hit upon the Lost Creek Nature Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Black River. trail close to Kelley Lake; camping at Bullwinkle's Rustic Lodge and RV Park is always a wonderful experience.
Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the Ozarks. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn POPLAR BLUFF
is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, naturally you could also go to Resniks Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Going for a hike on the Johnson Natural Area Backpack Trail is always a good adventure, and the scenery
at Kelley Lake Dam is scenic. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Kelley Lake will keep you coming back persistently. A pleasant nearby hotel is Drury Inn Poplar Bluff, and Kelley Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Camelot RV Campground is a magnificent local campground.
This lake is so wonderful.
