     This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks. While you're here at Karls Lake you can take a hike along the Lost Creek Nature Trail, and a charming lake like Carlton Lake is a great site to check out. Karls Lake is a reasonably wet place mostly with a great deal of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
Man, is there lots of fun things to do near Karls Lake. Camping is available at Camelot
 
   RV Campground; a great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn POPLAR BLUFF. This lake is so wonderful. On a splendid day at Karls Lake you can take a hike along the Pine Ridge Nature Trail; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Poplar Bluff Missouri is a good choice. Mallady Hollow is a glorious place to spend some time at, and going for a hike along the Johnson Natural Area Backpack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
There's no way
 
               somebody can get bored here in the Ozarks. You're sure to bump into some nice folks from Poplar Bluff here, and the scenery at Karls Lake Lower Dam is lovely. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Black River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and you'll come across a wonderful lake called Hon-Dah Reservoir. Throughout the summertime, highs generally are in the 90's at Karls Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Karls Lake tend to be in the 10's.
So many enjoyable things to do in the Ozarks, not sufficient time. A quick journey to Crooked Branch in the vicinity of Karls Lake is a wonderful idea, and why not camp at Bullwinkle's Rustic Lodge and RV Park while you're here at Karls Lake.

Very nice lake, very beautiful place. It has been dug between high hills and there is only one road to access it. Once you're down there, surrounded with trees, it seems as though you're in another world, like Narnia or so. The cottages are quite charming and there is a pathway all around the lake (20mns walk)....
