A visit to Kamler Lake is always a good idea. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Cuba, Mo, and Kamler Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Meramec Valley Camp Resort is a splendid local campground. Kamler Lake Dam is wonderful and it's near Kamler Lake, and Best Western Cuba Inn is a magnificent place to get some rest. | | lows dip down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Kamler Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Kamler Lake is not the only place nearby, Castanis Lake is a nearby lake, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Cuba Lakes Golf & Country Club. is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Meramec River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ozarks. A lake nearby is Rutz Lake. There's so much to do here at Kamler Lake that you need to camp here for a while,
Rafting Co Camping-Rv Resort is a nice place for that. The yearly rain here at Kamler Lake is about average; May is when you get the most rain here; January on the other hand is the driest.

 | 12 miles away Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit.
