Jones Dam has fine water scenery and it's close to Jones Lake; camping is available at Beacon RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. A stunning lake like Cantrell Lake right next door to Jones Lake is a brilliant site to stop at, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Classic Inn. Through the warm months here at Jones Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime       this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Jones Lake. Gotta ski! Snow Creek is a wonderful place to do that, and if you came for an overnight stay Basswood Country Resort is a good location to camp. Be careful coming to Jones Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. If you need a location to stay Comfort Suites St. Joseph is a delightful choice. From a rainfall point of view Jones Lake is a reasonably normal location;                  the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest.
