Not far from Johnson Lake, you'll discover Packwood Lake which is a pretty lake, and not far from Johnson Lake you get some great water scenery at Johnson Land Development Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sandman Motel is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Johnson Lake that you need to camp here for a while,       Countryside RV Park is a glorious place for that. Johnson Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through September, and February is when it's the driest. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Johnson Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Executive Suites; soar down the rapids of South Fabius River in a kayak. Playing golf is lots of fun at Daviess County Country Club, and Haw Branch is one of the streams close by that might                  be worth stopping at. During the summertime at Johnson Lake highs are usually in the 80's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 60's.
