     During the months of summer at Jank Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Jank Lake. Janks Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and a quick trip to Martin Branch is absolutely a brilliant idea. You truly must fancy Jank Lake. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water,  
   you can always go whitewater paddling on Meramec River.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Alvina Koelling Lake is in the neighborhood, and you can stay the night at Oak Grove Trailer Park. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Ozarks has to offer. There are other locations here than Jank Lake, for example Kozlowski Lake; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Cuba is a perfect choice. Ozark Outdoors Riverfront Resort is a nice campground
 
               nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Cuba Inn.
Jank Lake is located in the Ozarks. The yearly rain here at Jank Lake is about average; through May this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer.
