For the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Jackson Lake descend into the 10's. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more fun things to do here in the Ozarks. Not far from Jackson Lake you acquire some nice water       scenery at Jackson Dam. There's so much to do here at Jackson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pinewoods Park is a delightful place for that. For you golfers we recommend close by Golf Club of Wentzville, as expected you could also pop by Howard F Brewer Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Sams Creek is a brilliant place to take a look at; if you need a site to stay Super 8 Wentzville is a wonderful choice. And if that's not sufficient,                  there's heaps more to do in close proximity to Jackson Lake. If you came to camp Cuivre River State Park is a perfect place to do that. The annual rainfall here at Jackson Lake is about average; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful.
