Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do close to Jackman Lake. Lakes are such serene sites, why not check out Lake Avalon in the vicinity of Jackman       Lake; popping by George Washington Carver National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. Big Elk Camp & Canoe Rentals is a good local campground, and if you crave a little side trip, try Hickory Hollow. Just can't get enough of the Ozarks. Kozy Kamp is a glorious campground nearby, and an attention-grabbing thing to visit near Jackman Lake is Keaton Lake Dam.
