A visit to Iron Mountain Lake is always a good idea. The Crane Lake Trail is a great hiking trail near Iron Mountain Lake, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Farmington, Mo is a good spot to spend a night or two. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area right next door to Iron Mountain Lake has to offer. Brewers Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot in the vicinity of Iron Mountain Lake, and Farmington

A normal amount of rain falls here at Iron Mountain Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stouts Creek, and the summit of Brown Mountain can be made out from Iron Mountain Lake. Iron Mountain Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks.

This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Arcadia Valley Country Club, and if you're stopping by from Farmington, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Iron Mountain Lake you get some glorious water
scenery at Iron Mountain Lake Dam, and a brilliant place to camp here at Iron Mountain Lake is St Joe State Park. So much fun stuff in the Ozarks, just astonishing. Middlebrook Creek flows through this area, and if the weather is
great, you can go for a hike along the Silver Mine Trail.
Through the summertime here at Iron Mountain Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. All through
the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Iron Mountain Lake tend to be in the 20's. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Ozarks. Going for a hike along the Taum Sauk
Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and why not camp at Cherokee Landing while you're here at Iron Mountain Lake.
