Huston Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Kansas River for all you adrenaline junkies, and lots of people from Kansas City come here. Lakes are such serene sites, why not visit Lake Waukomis near Huston Lake. There's so much to do here at Huston Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Heart Mobile Village is a good place for that. Be careful coming to Huston Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again.

Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and enjoy a round of golf at Sunflower Hills Golf Course. at Huston Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Huston Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful.
The slopes of Snow Creek are so inviting nobody can resist. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Huston Lake has to offer, you can camp at Woodland Acres, and there's some flowing water nearby, East Creek is a stream
you can stop at while here. Huston Lake is a good spot of normal rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is February.
