Houston Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Riverside Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest, naturally you could also visit Lake Waukomis since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa is a great choice. Kansas River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Sunflower Hills Golf Course.

| | There's always Houston Lake Dam to pop by near Houston Lake; paddling on Blue River is so much fun. And that's not all you can do here at Houston Lake. Houston Lake is not far at all from Kansas City, and you can stay the night at Heart Mobile Village. Houston Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Woodland Acres is a splendid place to camp nearby, and a lake nearby is Huston Lake.
