Bullwinkle's Rustic Lodge and RV Park is a fine campground nearby; don't leave Holloway Lake without first going for a hike along the Pine Ridge Nature Trail. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in the Ozarks. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn POPLAR BLUFF, and why not a little side spree to Franklin Creek. Yeah, come here  
   to Holloway Lake for a delightful time. If you want to stop at some attention-grabbing stuff, stop at Carpenters Bend, and a scenic lake like Elbow Pond is a splendid place to pop by.
Lots of rainfall falls at Holloway Lake; March is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll meet a lot of people from Poplar Bluff here, and there's a brilliant forest called Poplar Bluff State Forest. If you need

This lake is so wonderful. Holloway Lake is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Camelot RV Campground is a splendid spot to camp nearby, and brilliant hiking is available along the Lost Creek Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Black River is so much fun, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Holloway Lake; Boardwalk Nature Trail is a splendid local trail. You don’t have to go far from Holloway Lake to catch a sight of the water at Holloway Lake Dam, and lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Carpenter Lake.
For the period of the summer, highs frequently are in the 90's at Holloway Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Holloway Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks.

Lake Lockloma
Very nice lake, very beautiful place. It has been dug between high hills and there is only one road to access it. Once you're down there, surrounded with trees, it seems as though you're in another world, like Narnia or so. The cottages are quite charming and there is a pathway all around the lake (20mns walk)....
