You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Ozarks has to offer. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Taum Sauk Trail; you can run the rapids of Stouts Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A nice location for whitewater       paddling close to Hillview Lake is Taum Sauk Creek, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Crane Lake Trail. Stony Point can be distinguished from Hillview Lake; during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Farmington for sure. Hillview Lake gets a typical amount of rain; most of the rain falls through March, and January is when it's the driest. Having a brilliant time in the Ozarks is painless. If you're here at Hillview Lake, you could stop                  by Lost Creek, and a good nearby hotel is Potosi Super 8 Motel. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hillview Lake, you could also visit beautiful Lake Sacajawea, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel Bonne Terre is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Hillview Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 40's; night lows in the 20's for Hillview Lake. Man, is there lots of fun things to do right next door to Hillview Lake.
