From a precipitation point of view Hill View Lake is a quite common place; March is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Hill View Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's; the overnight is a little cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Hill View Lake. Paddling       on Stouts Creek is so much fun, obviously you could also check out Hillview Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Hill View Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great earth it would be. If the weather is nice here at Hill View Lake, you can go for a hike along the Crane Lake Trail; here at Hill View Lake you can distinguish Stony Point. This lake is so wonderful. At Hill View                  Lake you always meet someone from Farmington, and going for a hike along the Taum Sauk Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Ozarks will keep you coming back again and again. Stay the night at Wild Boar Ridge Campground, and float down the rapids of Taum Sauk Creek in a kayak. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ozarks. Dry warm beds await you at Potosi Super 8 Motel, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Trace Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
