The warmest time of the year at Hill View Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Hill View Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. Hill View Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks. Just can't get enough of the Ozarks. People from       Farmington love to come to Hill View Lake, and the Crane Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Potosi Super 8 Motel. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Stouts Creek, and not far from Hill View Lake you'll discover Lake Sacajawea which is a stunning lake. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more exciting stuff to do in the Ozarks. Stay the night at St                  Joe State Park, and Super 8 Motel Bonne Terre is a good spot to get some rest. Hillview Lake Dam is a place that is close to Hill View Lake, and Wild Boar Ridge Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You can see Stony Point from Hill View Lake, and fine hiking is available along the Taum Sauk Trail. From a precipitation point of view Hill View Lake is a relatively normal spot; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is January. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Hill View Lake.
