There's so much to do here at Hermit Hollow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy Acres Camp Ground & Rntl is a great place for that, and a day on the slopes of Hidden Valley is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Hermit Hollow Lake, for example Labadie Power Plant Reservoir, and a glorious close by hotel is Travelodge Six Flags / Gray Summit. If you came to camp Pin Oak Creek RV Park                  is a tremendous site to do that, and Comfort Inn Near Six Flags St. Louis is a good place to get some rest. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Hermit Hollow Lake. Hermit Hollow Lake is near Hermit Hollow Lake Dam which is a scenic place undeniably worth stopping at, and some of the water nearby flows, like Becker Creek. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hermit Hollow Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Hermit Hollow Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
