This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Sullivan is a fine place to spend a night or two. Lakes are splendid; Marie Otte Reservoir is a lake that's near Herman Huelhorst Reservoir. Oak Grove Trailer Park is a wonderful campground nearby, and Flaker Lake Dam is a lovely spot. Meramec River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and you need to check out Kampschroeder Bend while you're here.

 | Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
