Hemitite Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Hematite Lake Dam while you're here at Hemitite Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Iron Mountain Tailings Pond. You get a great sight of Iron Mountain from Hemitite Lake, and you can run the rapids of Brewers Creek. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Ozarks.
