After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn St. Joseph Riverfront/Hist. is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and Snow Creek has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. And that's not all you can do here at Halls Lake. Here at Halls Lake there are plenty of folks from St. Joseph. From a rainfall point of view Halls Lake is a relatively normal place; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. Very great water scenery

| | is available at Scottys Lake Dam near Halls Lake, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not have a look at Horseshoe Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Halls Lake, for example Farmland Industries Incorporated Lake. There's so much to do here at Halls Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lewis & Clark State Park is a wonderful location for that. ordinarily in the 80's; the nighttime is a tad colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Halls Lake during the wintertime regularly fall into the 10's.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Classic Inn. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Halls Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beacon RV Park.
