Hagan Lake is a nice lake to visit. Here at Hagan Lake there are plenty of folks from Columbia, and why not have a look at Hagan Lake Dam since you're here. Columbia Super 8 Motel is a wonderful site to get some rest; going for a hike along the Cedar Creek Hiking Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Hagan Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Cottonwoods RV Park is a glorious local campground,

| | and not far from Hagan Lake you'll find Smith Lake which is a scenic lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Hagan Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hagan Lake. Some of the water nearby flows, like Nelson Creek, and get soaked paddling on Hinkson Creek.

If you came to camp Pine Grove Village MHP is a fine site to do that. Lakes are brilliant; Waters Edge Estates Lake is a lake that's right next door to Hagan Lake. Hagan Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; May is the wettest month
with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there a lot of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Hagan Lake. While you're here at Hagan Lake you can play some golf at Lake of the Woods Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Columbia/Lake Of The Woods is a tremendous choice.

| There is a gage at Providence Rd, you can check water levels at this link: http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv/?site_no=06910230&agency_cd=USGS My unladen solo canoe can scoot by at 30cfs, any less than that and I'm dragging. ...As of 6/18/2008, there is nowhere near enough water in the stream at the put-in (or much of the rest of the stream) for any kind of paddle-craft....This is a fun, after work run when the water is moving. There are no defined rapids, although there are several modest playspots: 1)S-Turn, near the back of the Walmart site, and 2) The Ultimate Surfing Wave which is downstream from the Old 63 bridge. Hazards include two low water crossings in the Stephens Golf Course. Portage is highly recommended at high water as the crossings act as low head dams. Water quality in the Spring can be an issue and several boaters in years past have contracted leptosporosis (aka lepto) from involuntarily ingesting the water. Mostly the Hink' is a fun float on moving water with enough wave action and eddys to keep things interesting. Suitable for canoes and kayaks. ... |
