What a nice lake Gudaitis Lake is. Gudaitis Lake is located in the Ozarks. Any time is a good time at Gudaitis Lake if you go for the outdoors. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to distinguish at Gudaitis Lake Dam close to Gudaitis Lake; dry warm beds await you at Potosi Super 8 Motel. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Gudaitis Lake while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and after the sun is down

| | all through the wintertime temperatures at Gudaitis Lake fall into the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Taum Sauk Creek, naturally you could also go to Howell Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This place, the Ozarks, has so much outdoors fun things. If you came to camp Wild Boar Ridge Campground is a good spot to do that; if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel Bonne Terre is a delightful choice. There's wonderful | |

hiking along the Trace Creek Trail, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River - East Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. Gudaitis Lake is nice enough to spend more than
a day at, Hazel Creek Campground is a nice local campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Taum Sauk Trail. The annual rain here at Gudaitis Lake is about average; during May this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile
is the driest month.
If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Ozarks. The Berryman Trail offers hiking at its best, and a lake nearby is Palmer Lake.

 | Good luck, I have been fishing here for years and I have yet to see anyone but me and a few buddies catch anything. Most of the people that hang out here are a bucnch drunks and are here to party. If you take your time and learn the lake you can catch alot of bass and as many redear you can eat. Just stay away from the local drunks.... |

why drain a national park's lake? this is all we have up here and now there is little left! STOP the draining of our lake! there are animals dieing because of it! there was also more money spent here in north dakota when the lake was a lot fuller. come look and see what damage your stupid missouri is costing at the lake! i go there every year and more and more water is gone for what? notheing! now that there is not a lot of water left people have to find a a different place to go. they cant even keep there boats at fort stevenson because it is BONE DRY! missouri, you need to close down your falls because there is more money made here and it not fair that a NATIONAL PARK Can Not survive because of you!! there should be no reason why a NAtional park should close. also the lake was here before your stupid idea even came around. there for it is our right to protect what we have:our future,homes, and last but not least, our lake and population.... |
