The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Gudaitis Lake reach the 80's with night lows in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Gudaitis Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Just can't get enough of the Ozarks. After a long day outdoors Austin Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two; Gudaitis       Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Hazel Creek Campground is a glorious local campground. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Taum Sauk Creek. There's so much to do here at Gudaitis Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wild Boar Ridge Campground is a wonderful site for that. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Gudaitis Lake, you can go for a hike along                  the Berryman Trail; Black River - East Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. A common amount of rain falls here at Gudaitis Lake; May is when you get the most rain here while January is regularly the driest month. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more fun things to do in the Ozarks. Going for a hike along the Trace Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; Gudaitis Lake Dam is a place that is in close proximity to Gudaitis Lake. Gudaitis Lake truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise.
