A good spot to camp here at Gray Lake is Basswood Country Resort; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kansas River. Kansas City Airport Marriott is a brilliant place to get some rest, and you're sure to stumble upon some wonderful people from Kansas City here. This lake is so wonderful. Hayes Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and for you golfers we recommend close by National Golf

At Gray Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Gray Lake. Gray Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Gray Lake you get some pleasant water scenery at Gray Lake Dam; Gray Lake is not the only
spot close by, Francis Bell Lake is a close by lake. This place is excellent, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do near Gray Lake. If you need a place to stay Chase Suites Hotel Kansas City is a good choice; why not camp at Woodland Acres while you're here at Gray Lake.
