Gould Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; all through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Near Gould Lake you find a golf course called Cuba Lakes Golf & Country Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Meramec River. Do check out Keeney Lake in the vicinity of Gould Lake, it's a picturesque lake. There's so much to do here at Gould Lake that you need to camp here

Gould Lake is located in the Ozarks. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Blue Moon RV Park and Horse Motel; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express CUBA. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the Ozarks has to offer. What a place this is for outdoors people. Gould Lake Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's near Gould Lake. Through the warmest time of the year at Gould Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Gould Lake.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
