Gould Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Gould Lake is located in the Ozarks. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Gould Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while Gould Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Gould Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
