If you need a site to stay Hampton Inn Clinton is       a delightful choice, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Goose Lake Dam in the vicinity of Goose Lake. A quick visit to Coal Creek in the neighborhood of Goose Lake is a good idea, and a great close by hotel is Best Western Colonial Motel. Summertime highs at Goose Lake generally tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's.
