So many exciting things to do at Glen Leonard Lake, so little time. A golf course in the vicinity of Glen Leonard Lake is House Springs Golf Course, and lots of people from St. Louis come here. Glen Leonard Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Do explore Glen Leonard Dam if you're here at Glen Leonard Lake, and Super 8 Pevely is a great place

This lake is so wonderful. A glorious spot to camp here at Glen Leonard Lake is Maple Leaf RV. Lakes? Sure, Vatterott Lake is close by. This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks. If you need a spot to stay Staybridge Suites OFALLON CHESTERFIELD is a nice choice; Hidden Valley is a brilliant local ski area.
Be careful coming to the Ozarks, you might not ever want to go home again. Yeah, come up here to the Ozarks for a great time. | |

Leonard Lake while night lows are typically in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Glen Leonard Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.

| Lake Wauwanoka is not NEAR the Ozarks. It's a half-hour outside St. Louis and a good three t four hours from the Ozarks....We live in DeSoto, Mo. and would love to sail Lake Wauwanoka. Would that be possible?...My first memory visiting the lake was in 1956 at the age of five. Along with my parents and five other siblings we stayed with my grandmother in her small cottage. My father was put to work on home improvements and all of us were given small chores to help fix the cottage where she resided. Cousins, aunts and uncles would come out for a visit. Over the years to follow the lake sponsored summer events. July 4th, everyone decorated their canoes and pontoons. Our pontoon was decorated in a hawaiian theme. My cousins and I made grass skirts from the weeds that grew around the lake. Oh, did we itch but we won first place. Of all the memories of my summer visits one of my greatest was the box turtle that visited every morning for strawberries my grandmother gave him. She named him Joe. She painted a red streak on his back to identify him. Each year she would touch up the paint. For the next twenty years I visited, so did Joe.... |

All bass good seemingly hitting everything; Sunfish and Bluegill are good on live bait w/bobber combo; Catfish are fair on liver and goldfish; Crappie slow....
It's starting to heat up at the lake. I caught this one on a cricket with a bobber, about 5 feet in depth.... |
