After a long day outdoors Courtyard by Marriott Columbia Missouri is a perfect site to spend a night or two; the scenery at Ginn Lake Dam is charming. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a brilliant little spree to Big Branch, and if you come at the right time of year, Hinkson Creek offers some splendid whitewater. The yearly precipitation here at Ginn Lake is about average; of all the months in a year May       is the one with the most rain; January is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Ginn Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Ginn Lake. If you like the outdoors, you'll fancy Ginn Lake. Super 8 Columbia/Lake Of The Woods is a good spot to get some rest, and lots of people from Jefferson City come here.
