Gilmore Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Visit Jam Up Creek if you're here at Gilmore Pond, and if you're addicted to cool geologic characteristics try Red Bluff. During the warm months at Gilmore Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. Camping at VFW Campground is always a glorious experience; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express West Plains, Mo is a splendid choice. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Ozarks. Camping is available at Twin Pines Campground, and the Blue Ridge Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Hollow is a good site to discover; close by you find the Wagon Trace which is a glorious hiking trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks.
