You can take a little tour
to Scotts Pond Dam if you're here at Frisco Lake; playing golf is lots of fun at Oak Meadow Country Club.
The yearly rain here at Frisco Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is the month with the least moisture. A great close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Rolla, and hiking along the Cedar Bluff Trail is nice fun. During the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Frisco Lake while night lows are commonly in

             the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Frisco Lake temperatures sink to the 10's.
That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Frisco Lake has it all. If the weather is wonderful here at Frisco Lake, you can go for a hike along the Kaintuck Trail; folks from Rolla love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great area for people who like lakes. Scotts Pond is a lake in the vicinity, and going for a hike along the Blossom Rock Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Frisco Lake has to offer, you can camp at Arlington River Resort.
The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful.

...ke a large, deep cave through which light doesn't travel because of a bend in the tunnel. Follow the trail around the hill and you will find the other opening. Next time I will bring a flashlight so that I can explore a little.

The trails are popular with horseback riders and are as wide as sidewalks most of the time. In most places and the footing is good. A small percentage of the trail is made up of loose rock that can be bad for a weak ankle.

My only complaint is that the map I have is not accurate and the markers on the trees don't lend much confidence. Today I wound up walking an extra two hours because of a wrong turn. Looking at the Internet maps, I still can't find the path I was walking or the fenced meadows. In one spot the trail went through a chained gate. I didn't know if I would be trespassing so I turned right, followed a path around the field and found myself on some dirt road that is not marked. Maybe the next time the park service is out clearing fallen trees or doing their controlled burns they can tack up a few more trail signs, especially ...
