     Forester Lake Dam has fine water scenery and it's close to Forester Lake, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Skinner-Sorth-Koch-Kreider Lake. The yearly rain here at Forester Lake is about average; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is mostly the driest month. Forester Lake is located in the Ozarks.
If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Ozarks. Why not camp at Meramec Valley
 
   Camp Resort while you're here at Forester Lake, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Cuba Inn is a great choice. Throughout the summertime highs here at Forester Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's while Forester Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for  
               everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Meramec River, and Hickory Lake is a tremendous lake nearby.
After a long day outdoors Super 8 Cuba is a good place to spend a night or two, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Big River Creek. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Forester Lake rocks! Blue Moon RV Park and Horse Motel is a delightful local campground.

Tea Lakes
Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
