For the period of the months of summer highs here at Forest Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Forest Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Super 8 Motel Troy, Mo is a delightful location to get some rest, and Pinewoods Park is a great local campground. The Ozarks       scenery is always beautiful. Forest Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a place to stay Best Western West 70 Inn is a tremendous choice, and Skunk Hollow is a great spot to go to. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Forest Lake. Forest Lake is right next door to Forest Lake Dam which is a striking location                  positively worth a visit. Lakes? Sure, Cloverleaf Farm Lake is in the neighborhood. That right there is lots of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Ozarks has it all. This lake is so wonderful. Skunk Creek is a great local stream, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Innsbrook Resort Golf Course is in the neighborhood. Be careful coming to the Ozarks, you might not ever wanna go home again.
