     Ford Lake is located in the Ozarks. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Ford Lake. Be careful coming to the Ozarks, you might not ever want to return back home again. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ford Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rafting Co Camping-Rv Resort; do stop at Ford Lake Dam while you're here.

   to get some rest. During the months of summer highs here at Ford Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. During the winter highs are generally in the 40's; night lows in the 10's for Ford Lake. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Ford Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.

               Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Ozark Outdoors Riverfront Resort is a great location to camp nearby. If you come at the right time of year, Meramec River offers some good whitewater, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Cuba Fish Farm Lake.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
