Foerster Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Perryville/Cape Girardeau KOA is a good place to camp nearby, and not far from Foerster Lake you'll discover Minnehaha Lake which is a scenic lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Perryville; a brilliant spot nearby is Bald Glade Hollow. Graveyard       Hill is trouble-free to spot from Foerster Lake, and there are other places here than Foerster Lake, for example Lake Minnie Ha-Ha Upper. From a rainfall point of view Foerster Lake is a relatively typical site; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month is January. And if that's not enough there's a heap more fun things to do in the Ozarks. Brushy Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to, and Pickle Creek is a good                  whitewater spot close by. Foerster Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks. And that's not all you can do here at Foerster Lake. Hiking along the John J Audubon Trail is wonderful fun, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Castor River. Through the warm days of summer at Foerster Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Foerster Lake sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Microtel Inn and Suites Sainte Genevieve is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, also Foerster Dam is worth going to if you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
