     You'll need more than a day to discover everything Elders Lake has to offer, you can camp at Birds Nest Lodge; you'll hit upon a charming lake called Brummet Lake. During the warm days of summer here at Elders Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Elders Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is one of  
   the great places here in the Ozarks.
Stay the night at Rafting Co Camping-Rv Resort; do have a look at Durbin Lake, it's a delightful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Elders Lake Dam has splendid water scenery and it's in close proximity to Elders Lake; if you need a place to stay Best Western Cuba Inn is a great choice. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Elders Lake.

               months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more cool things to do here in the Ozarks. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Meramec River, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express CUBA.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit.
