     After a long day outdoors Days Inn Mexico is a tremendous site to spend a night or two; there are plenty of folks from Mexico here at Eisele Lake. Eisele Lake gets a typical amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Mark Twain Landing, and needless to say, this is a wonderful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Auwarter  
   Lake is a lake close by. A good place to camp here at Eisele Lake is Salt River Campground, and Eisele Lake Dam is a place that is next to Eisele Lake.
High temperatures at Eisele Lake all through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Eisele Lake are in the 10's. So many fun things to do at Eisele Lake, so little time. Hiking
 
               is a popular thing to do around Eisele Lake; Hickory Bluff Trail is a nice local trail. There's great hiking along the Lick Creek Trail. Lakes are perfect; Alton Lake is a lake that's near Eisele Lake.

Lot 1 was cement and very level. We agreed to change lots when another camper came in that was staying for 4 years and for whom this lot was better suited with multi-level cement areas and flower beds.

Lot 34 was a gravel pull through which was level and just fine. All lots have picnic tables and burn rings.

The owners, Kathy & Drew, were very helpful to us and very nice and accommodating. They plan family events for the campers and have a nice little store area for essentials. Just before we left, they were going to begin having homemade muffins and to-die-for cinnamon rolls at the store.

It is very dog friendly which is important to us.

The wi-fi works well and has an excellent signal.

The campground is easy to locate from I-70 Danville Exit and is quiet and has nice grounds including trails through the woods for hiking and enjoying nature. The swimming pool was closed for the winter as the weather was cool while we were there, so I didn't use the pool.
