There's so much to do here at E R Hooks Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy Day Campground is a perfect spot for that; John Gasper Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. So many cool things near E R Hooks Lake, simply inspiring. This lake is so wonderful. E R Hooks Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Kan-Do Kampground and RV Park is a tremendous local campground, and E R Hooks Lake is not far at all from Mexico. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Stes By Carlson, Kansas City At Village West; at G and G Cattle Company East Dam in the neighborhood of E R Hooks Lake there are some exciting things to see. | |

...m this lot was better suited with multi-level cement areas and flower beds.
Lot 34 was a gravel pull through which was level and just fine. All lots have picnic tables and burn rings.
The owners, Kathy & Drew, were very helpful to us and very nice and accommodating. They plan family events for the campers and have a nice little store area for essentials. Just before we left, they were going to begin having homemade muffins and to-die-for cinnamon rolls at the store.
It is very dog friendly which is important to us.
The wi-fi works well and has an excellent signal.
The campground is easy to locate from I-70 Danville Exit and is quiet and has nice grounds including trails through the woods for hiking and enjoying nature. The swimming pool was closed for the winter as the weather was cool while we were there, so I didn't use the pool.
We did not use the bathrooms, showers or laundry facilities while there, though they do have them.
We would definitely stay there again and in fact do plan to stay there when going through the area in April,... |
