This lake is so wonderful. Meramec River is a pleasant whitewater spot next to Durbin Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Cuba Inn. A golf course in the neighborhood of Durbin Lake is Cuba Lakes Golf & Country Club; a pleasant site to camp here at Durbin Lake is Birds Nest Lodge. The annual rain here at Durbin Lake is about average; during May this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
