A visit to Dry Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Dry Lake, for example Big Lake, and let's not forget Hazel Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. From a precipitation point of view Dry Lake is a pretty common spot; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
