There's some out of the ordinary stuff to spot at Drennon Dam right next door to Drennon Lake, and the slopes of Snow Creek are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Staley Farms Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. A beautiful lake like Huston Lake close to Drennon Lake is a splendid spot to pop by; there's whitewater on Kansas River for all you adrenaline people. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Drennon Lake. Through

| | the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Drennon Lake temperatures dip to the 10's.

a fine local campground. So many fun things to do at Drennon Lake, so little time. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Lake Waukomis in the neighborhood of Drennon Lake, and you can run the rapids of Blue River.

i agree with this at regular water. but on the other hand after good rain this section, for the area, is the best around.class 2 to 3,4 easy.the senery is the best for the area when it comes to wildlife give that your only 5 minutes from the big city life... |
