Having a tremendous time in the Ozarks is uncomplicated. This is a wonderful area for people who like lakes. Nolie Lake North is a lake around here, and a perfect close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Sullivan. This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks. Very good water scenery is available at Gibbons Lake Dam near Dorson Lake, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Nolie Lake South is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. | | stay Oak Grove Trailer Park is a good place to camp, and get soaked paddling on Meramec River. An average amount of rainfall falls at Dorson Lake; during May this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Through the months of summer at Dorson Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight | |

 | 10 miles away Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
