This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a striking lake called Merrill Lake near Dawt Mill Pond, and Days Inn Mountain Home is a great place to get some rest. Here at Dawt Mill Pond you'll probably meet some folks from Mountain Home; you might also want to pay a visit to Big Hollow while you're here at Dawt Mill Pond. This lake is so wonderful.

| | can take a hike along the Ridge Runner NR Trail, and Dawt Mill is a magnificent campground nearby. Dreamscape Cottages and Campground is a brilliant local campground; Dawt Mill Pond Dam has brilliant water scenery. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks.

So many enjoyable things to do here in the Ozarks, too splendid to be true. Do check out Sweeton Pond in the vicinity of Dawt Mill Pond, it's a gorgeous lake, and some of the water close by flows, like Bryant Creek. From a rain point
of view Dawt Mill Pond is a rather typical location; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.
At Dawt Mill Pond throughout the long summer days highs are
in the 90's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Dawt Mill Pond.

Take a picnic basket on the 3/4 mile hike to Inspiration Point, where you may relax on a park bench and enjoy the spectacular view of the North Fork River. The trail is well marked and at a gentle enough incline for almost anyone to make the trip.

The River of Life Spring On your Ozark nature hike, enjoy the River of Life Spring as the small babbling brook it makes on its way to the North Fork River.
While hiking, you're likely to encounter a few of the many species of wildlife that inhabit or visit the grounds including deer, turkey, bald eagles, raccoons, and bob cats.
