At Dairy Pond you always meet someone from Fort Leonard Wood; hiking is a popular thing to do around Dairy Pond; Big Piney Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Knights Inn St Robert; there's pleasant hiking along the Big Piney National Scenic Trail. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Dairy Pond       has it all. A trip to Dairy Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Miller Spring, and golf can be played at Piney Valley Golf Course. After a long day outdoors Candlewood Suites St. Robert is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and Wilderness Ridge Resort is a glorious local campground. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Ozarks. If you came for an overnight stay Rich's Last Resort is a brilliant site to camp, and why not take                  a refreshing hike along the Paddy Creek Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks. Dairy Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; all through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. For the duration of the summer at Dairy Pond highs are regularly in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
