Crystal Blue Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. At Crystal Blue Lake you always meet someone from Hannibal. There's so much to do here at Crystal Blue Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bayview Camper's Park is a tremendous place for that. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Crystal Blue Lake get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down

| | into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Crystal Blue Lake dip into the 10's. Cedar Creek
 | 16 miles away 1 PHOTO In response to keith's note. I've kayaked Cedar Creek several times. During heavy rain events the creek is VERY wild. And while yes it is bony, it's a fun ride.. especially since it's one of the only places to get above a class II ride around quincy. Additionally, DO NOT go to bear creek unless you plan on doing some flat water near where it meets the mississippi river. Any further upstream and you'll be dealing with hostile landowners who aren't aware of the navigability laws in illinois. You'll probably be met by a sherrif on the take out.
